About Us
Mautix began as a personal vision: to create a space where artists could go beyond simply posting images — to truly curate, design, and share their work in an environment that feels intentional and alive.
Unlike social or sandbox worlds that require you to build an entire 3D scene, Mautix removes the barriers. You focus on your art — we provide the gallery, the tools, and the atmosphere. With Unreal Engine 5 rendering, every piece is presented with cinematic light and space, from a quiet tundra gallery to a surreal snow-filled exhibition
Here, artists don’t just showcase. They craft immersive experiences — adjusting lighting, sound, mood, and environment to make art not only seen, but felt.
The name Mautix is a fusion of two symbolic references:
“Mau” — the ancient Egyptian word for cat, inspired by the goddess Bastet, protector of the arts, music, and creativity. She embodies the idea of art’s guardian spirit.
“tix” — derived from Don Quixote, the timeless figure of idealism and courageous pursuit of dreams, even against impossible odds.
Together, Mautix represents a guardian spirit for art, and the courage to pursue artistic ideals with the same passion and imagination as Don Quixote.
